Since 1994, Prime Stock Theatre has been creating professional theatre in Red Deer and central Alberta. We have operated out of virtually every theatre space that central Alberta has to offer. We have employed hundreds of artists from around the world over the years, and continue to foster professional theatre to this day.

Beginning in 2010, Prime Stock Theatre has been producing the Bard on Bower Festival at Red Deer's beautiful Bower Ponds. Each summer, hundreds of people from central Alberta and beyond, take in our productions of Shakespeare's best works, presented by professional actors and technicians.

In addition to Bard on Bower, Prime Stock also produces new works, as well as published plays throughout the season.
